Ship & Port Dubai 2010 postponed

In spite of the fact that the Middle East offers good prospects for the maritime industry, mostly in the field of port development, offshore, shipbuilding and repair, the organisation of Ship & Port Dubai 2010 has decided to postpone the exhibition. Because of the economic market situation the number of participants that registered in the exhibition turned out to be insufficient to organize a quality business event. Organisers Al Fayer and Ahoy Rotterdam note that this decision has been made in the best interest of the exhibitors, visitors and industry as a whole, knowing the desired return of investments to all stakeholders cannot be delivered. They continue to keep an eye on the developments in the Gulf region so that the exhibition can be organised at another time.
